Trampoline vs. Rebounder: What’s the Difference?

TRAMPOLINE VS REBOUNDERTrampolines and rebounders are identical and similar in so many ways, yet they also have their unique designs. Both are meant for sporting and physical activities, and both can be used by people of any ages. Both are in round shape and are made with quite the same materials for jumping, however, the rebounders are smaller in size, which was why it is often called as the mini-trampolines.

Rebounder is designed for jumping and other exercise activities for one person only. Aside from jumping, a person may also use the rebounder for running in place or jumping jacks or bouncing. As a fitness tool, a rebounder can be used indoor by a single person to achieve physical fitness. One can do stationary exercises on it while holding a dumbbell or an exercise bar, or while bouncing for a lot of healthy benefits it provide.

The trampoline is designed not just for fitness purposes, but for playing and recreational activities. A bigger size of trampoline can fit even up to 10 or more persons who can play while bouncing. Some are designed with additional accessories like fence, basketball ring, and many more for a whole lot of activities.

Workout Purposes

A rebounder does not allow enough space for different stunts and high jumps, but they are perfect for any exercise and workout activities, even for some aerobic routines. With the use of hand bars, dumbbells, jumping rope, or weight-lifting accessories, a rebounder can be used to trim down body weight and burn fats.

On the other hand, the trampoline, in its bigger size, can be used for different tumbling or stunt workouts, flipping, handsprings, high jumps, and a variety of fun activities. Since this is ideal for kids’ play, it is best to have the trampoline fenced with safety nets or soft foam to prevent kids from being injured.
